WELCOME TO UNIVERSALKINGZBLOG's HOUSE, TELL YOUR FANS ABOUT YOURSELF?


My name is Clifford Victor, short black boy (laughing). Born to the family of Mr Victor Atung, I'm his first son. I lost my dad in 2004 and since then my mum has been the man and woman of the house till now. We are just three in the family; my mum, my kid sister and my humble self.


WHATS YOUR STAGE NAME? AND HOW DID YOU COME ABOUT THE NAME?






OK, my stage name is Richy Blaise, I've always had love for the name BLAISE because it's the name of my patron Saint and my dad's other name happens to be Richard and at one time people prefer to call me Richy instead of cliff lol. And because of the love I have for music, I was like "Richy Blaise will be nice as a stage name" so like that I started using Richy Blaise as my stage name.



ARE YOU SIGNED TO ANY LABEL? DO YOU BELONG TO ANY MUSICAL GROUP OR ORGANIZATION?



Yea, i belong to a musical group call D'victorz but i'm not under any label yet.




OK RICHY, ARE OR IS ANY MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY INTO MUSIC?

Yea my dad when he was alive he loved hip hop music and my mum is a chorister in church.


WHICH ARTISTE DO YOU LOOK UP TO AND WHY?


Da'truth, well I choose him because any time he speaks, it hits my heart and makes me wanna hear him some more and wish I was the one talking and touching people's life with my music and least I'd forget I have to mention My big brother Panshark Henry Zamani. Apart from the kind of music he makes one thing I love about him is his humility and loyalty.



MUSIC WISE, WHERE DO YOU PICTURE YOUR MUSIC IN 5YEARS ?


Hmmmmm in five years, I wont really say I will be here because all men suppose to grow so I will say in the next 5years I will be in a new level or point that is more standardized and off course giving helping hands to the new guys(new acts).





WHAT PERSONAL ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE THAT WANTS TO PURSUE THIS CAREER?




Well my advice to young acts is to stay focus, be natural and always pray to God, He will see you through.


IF YOU HAD TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN WOULD YOU STILL CHOOSE THIS CAREER? WOULD YOU DO ANYTHING DIFFERENTLY?


Yes I will still do music. It's some thing I really love doing, so I think I will still do music.



OGA RICHY BLAISE WHEN YOU GO MARRY? LOL SO IS THERE A SHE IN YOUR LIFE?



(laughing) yes o there is, no names sha (laughing) but all I can say is she is loving, caring and understanding. And she sings too (laughing)....





WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW? WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT?



Well, I don't have the full authorisation to say what we (Da'Victorz) are working on but the only thing I can say is that something good is coming soon and I bet, you will love it and blog it...


WHAT ARE YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS SO FAR?


Thanks to God for the love and support, He has been supportive to me o. Just last year after I released my first official single title "Loke Loke" which was loved by every listener and two months later I got nominated in the KEA awards in the category of next rated act and November that same year my group and I got nominated in GOM awards though we did not win any of the awards but we felt recognised which alone I see as a stepping stone.
